“Is the Sumerian Mythology Recorded in the Holy Bible?”

“Is the Sumerian Mythology Recorded in the Holy Bible?”

I’ve read many books about different ancient civilizations from around the world. What I’ve noticed through my research is that many of these civilizations and their beliefs can be traced back to ancient Mesopotamia and the Anunnaki gods. For example, in Greek mythology, Hermes Trismegistus could be Ningishzidda, an Anunnaki god from Sumerian mythology. I’ve also learned that Ningishzidda could have been known as Thoth/Tehuti in ancient Egypt and Quetzalcoatl, a worshipped God in Mesoamerica.

Curiosity

I’ve read the Bible (KJV) a few times, and I’m currently reading and learning about the Quran. In the Bible, you can read about locations like Shinar, the southern region of Mesopotamia, which was known as Sumer in ancient Mesopotamia.

And some of the stories recorded in the Holy Bible share similarities with what the Sumerians once recorded with pictographs and cuneiform tablets.

My curiosity about Sumerian mythology started with questions that I had that were recorded in the Holy Bible. For example, where is Heaven?

Some people believe that the Sumerians recorded that extraterrestrials from a different planet came to earth and created modern humans. And since there is a lot of controversy surrounding “Nibiru,” cylinder seal VA 243 is the only evidence that many people will use as evidence of the Sumerians indicating that the Anunnaki came from a different planet from our solar system.

Sumerian VA 243

The Controversy

When it comes to Nibiru, the supposed location home of the Anunnaki, there is no evidence provided in the academic world that indicates that the Anunnaki came from a different planet. The first person who started this idea was Zecharia Sitchin, and he mainly presented cylinder Seal VA 243 as his evidence. However, the Sumerians only knew Nibiru as a city in ancient Mesopotamia. This can be verified through The Electronic Text Corpus of Sumerian Literature (ETCSL).

Ea, also known as Enki, was an Anunnaki god of “wisdom, freshwater, intelligence, trickery and mischief, crafts, magic, exorcism, healing, creation, virility, fertility, and art.” When Enki was being depicted, he was, at times, displayed as half-man and half-fish or wearing a fish garment of some sort.

Understanding that Christians at one time were coming against pagan emperors and others who called themselves gods, a symbol was created to identify other Christians; they needed something to symbolize their god and who they believed in. Using the Ichthys as a way to identify one another was one of them. Using the closest thing that represents who your god is without bringing too much attention to the meaning.

The ichthys is a symbol adopted by early Christians as a secret symbol, a type of mark to determine and help determine other Christians.

JESUS CHRIST of GOD SON SAVIOR

I can’t help but notice the similarities between the Holy Bible and what the Sumerians recorded on cuneiform tablets. And because of that, my search continues.

The Flood story: c.1.7.4
After An, Enlil, Enki and Ninḫursaĝa had fashioned the black-headed people, they also made animals multiply everywhere, and made herds of four-legged animals exist on the plains, as is befitting. (approx. 32 lines missing)

The Death of Gilgameš: c.1.8.1.3

The star people/Sumerians left a recorded history. They also mentioned there God,Yahweh, and was also was recorded, him/God ,saying after the DNA change, “now they are one with us “. Indicating the samerians are Gods Angels. Becoming the fallen Angels after having sex with the daughters of men. Recorded history says the fallen Angels were sent to earth! It’s not a wonder if those dealing with the fallen Angels won’t tell you.

Well said, thank you for reading my article. There is so much information out there that there’s not enough time in the day for one person to research it all. We must all help each other out in finding the truth.

The state of our confusion is valid reason to believe that accurate knowledge of our ancient past has been corrupted on purpose and with an almost criminal attempt to cover up the truth.

A purposely wedged, ever-widening gulf of the unknown expands directly at the edge of the ‘absolute truth’ forever lost to posited theories of ignorance and origins of control that guide our ineptitude.

Were the so-called god’s failure so embarrassing to them that their intent at washing away the truth was to forever dissolve our knowledge of them and relationship with them?

Most European languages are derived from proto-Indian. The Indians worshiped the Igigi as well as the main Pantheon. That is why they have all the minor gods as well. Marduk’s Revolt, Tower at Babel, Expulsion of the Angels, Chronos War, Aesir/Vanir War, Atlas’ Revolt, Titan War, The Mahabharat War, Sodom and Gomorrah, the destruction at Puma Punku, The destruction of the original structure at Temple Mound, the destruction of the original structure at Baalbek…. the destruction of every building on the surface of the planet that wasn’t buried (when was Gobleki Tepe buried?) or underground…. Excellent chronology here succinct and detailed. I agree with all of it and that is very rare…here is somthing I can share you may not know. The Biblical story of Joshuas long day ( killing Amorites) is significant in two ways .1st it tells of Nibirus last crossing (perehelion) est.1550bce, since we know the sun and moon can not stand still in the sky ! A large object paused earths rotation (a process i proved in my garage on a small scale). And 2nd. The Amorites were being systematically abolished by the Anunnaki. Thanks again for your hard work in decipphering the long chain of missdirection and false narrative that is our human history.

I totally agree with you and was just thinking the same thing last night. Quetzalcoatl was Jesus Christ, he said he would visit his other sheep. The best way to put this all together is to read the Book of Mormon. You can download it for free from the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Plus all the others books in the Bible.

Myths are creations by the minds of humans. Myths are successful when a community of people believe the myths and act in accordance with them. An example is a monetary system. A monetary system requires all parties to believe that paper money is of value. The system works because everyone accepts paper money for real commodities. Religions are myths, useful myths, because the belief in religion can draw a large number of people into a set of rules and behaviors that bring stability to a large group of people. Myths are only useful when people believe in them. Gods are myths. There is no divine intervention in the lives of people but people believe that random events are the result of divine intervention when in reality they are random events.

  57. If you read book of Enoch especially 1Enoch you would see that The half fish half God etc were cursed fallen angels especially the female ones and they became winged mer people. Yhwh or IAm who I Am doesn’t need a form ,He came to earth as Yshua or Christ to be a Ransom for our fallen spirit but He will come again as Divine King and judge of those who don’t want to change positively.Beings want to take us away from the simplicity of Faith like a child’s so various Knowledge’s etc.are tempting us.We don’t need knowledge from Tree of evil etc. ,We need knowledge from the Tree of Life.Life isn’t controversial it isn’t mystical it is simply How child-like hearts would interact with the Formless Creator and His innocent harmless planet when Restoration by Yshua Christ happens soon. All sorts of harm and mischief happened and keep happening when we see only ambitious quests and self centered pursuits rather than hold on to what is simple but deeply heartfelt, to make this planet the kindest and purest that it can be.To glorify our Creator Savior and not to scrutinize, defy, rebel,or challenge Him .

I really enjoyed reading this and also have a great interest in Sumerian mythology and the Annunaki. Can you recommend any good books dealing with these subjects?

  60. Thank for the reference of Thoth/tihuti. I have been speaking to tihuti since a toddler so any information on him is great. Love your posts. Do you feel tihuti is still present in the great pyramid with the council of 7 in the library of amenti?? Influencing us today Eager cayce said knowledge is hidden in the pyramid.

  61. I do tend to think that many things can be attributed to the Annunaki legend! I’ve felt for a good while now they have a lot to do with creating or creates religions, this here helps more in that thought!

    • Tyrone Ellington

      Right on

  62. Spent almost a year tracking down Sumerian stories and comparing them to the Bible. Basically agree with what this article said about none of them baring any resemblence outside of shifting them around to try and make them fit, the only potential exception being a few striking similarities with moses, which in all fairness could be coincidence.

That being said I do actually doubt the trustworthiness of any supposed ancient ‘newly discovered” texts in general. Think how easy it is to just change a whole chunk of history by simply “finding new “””evidence””””.. for example Christopher Columbus was suddenly discovered to be a terrible person right when an antiwhite political stance was trying to be formed by the left party in America. Was Christopher Columbus really evil.. Or is that story just bullshit? This probably gets way worse with things in the “distant past” where no one alive can rally disagree/disapprove of the supposed evidence. In 2100 their will probably be a story taught in school about how “wonderfully helpful” the vaccine was in 2019. Just a thought.

Random side note: most jews are parasitic international war criminals that hate life, love, and happiness.
